Course requirements
Piano Accompanists should have achieved Grade 7 at a high standard and must be competent sight-readers. First-time applicants should send a reference from their teacher.

The Solo Singers and Piano Accompaniment courses are organised in tandem so that each Solo Singer is paired with a single Piano Accompanist for the duration of the Summer School. Piano Accompanists can expect to work with two Solo Singers. You will be put in touch with your course partners in advance in order to discuss and prepare repertoire. Each duo will receive daily tuition from one of the three tutors.

Accompanists’ repertoire for piano and violin:
Any movement from the following:
Handel Sonata in D
Beethoven Sonata in F, 'Spring', Op 24
Brahms Sonata in G Op 78
Franck Sonata in A
Dvorak Four Romantic Pieces Op 75
Smetana Aus der Heimat (either 1 or 2)
