Respected and admired as a most distinguished pianist (he recent appeared
at the Festival Hall with the LPO), and with an impressive discography,
Philip Fowke is Senior Fellow of Keyboard at Trinity College.
Unusually for today, Philip Martin successfully
combines a busy triple career as a pianist, composer and teacher, both
privately and at Birmingham Conservatoire.

Students study with both tutors, receiving
masterclass lessons. Both Philips’ classes are informal and
relaxed, and everyone present is encouraged to contribute their
own thoughts and ideas for general discussion. A list of intended
works will be circulated prior to the Summer School so that you
can bring your own music as appropriate. This facilitates the classes
and enables a wider sharing of the musical and performing issues
that arise.
