Students study with both tutors, receiving masterclass lessons. Both Philips’ classes are informal and relaxed, and everyone present is encouraged to contribute their own thoughts and ideas for general discussion. A list of intended works will be circulated prior to the Summer School so that you can bring your own music as appropriate. This facilitates the classes and enables a wider sharing of the musical and performing issues that arise.
